Crew Management

Fully qualified. Properly certificated. On board on time.

Crewing is the largest part of what we do. We screen every seafarer, check every certificate, and give you one senior manager who owns the vessel from the planning stage to the relief.

Overview

Crew Management

Crew management has been the centre of this company since the start, and it remains the largest part of our shipping activity. Only seafarers who are fully qualified and properly STCW certified are employed — that screening is not a formality, it is the job.

Each client works with one designated senior personnel manager. That person appoints the seafarers who join your vessels, runs the crew changes, and passes operational information back to base — so you are never working out who to ask.

What it covers

Scope of work.

01

Planning

A crew matrix and relief plan built around how the vessel actually trades and how long the contracts run, so a crew change is arranged before the window opens rather than during it.

02

Recruitment

Officers and ratings sourced for every vessel type, from our own database of seafarers and from partner networks we have vetted ourselves.

03

Selection

Certificates verified, references checked, and a technical interview by a senior officer from the same department. Nobody joins on the strength of a CV alone.

04

Onboard placement

Joining documents and briefing issued in writing before the seafarer leaves home, then coordination with the vessel and the port agent right up to sign-on.

05

Crew administration

Contracts, wage records, leave and relief tracking, and reporting that keeps the owner current on the people running the ship.

06

Ongoing training

Competency development continues after placement — our online courses and refresher training, matched to rank and vessel type.

The result we are accountable for: your vessels crewed by people trained across every area of ship operation, supported and monitored while they are on board.

Next step

Tell us what you need crewed, audited or trained.

Send the vessel particulars, the ranks you need or the course you are after. The reply comes from a master mariner or a chief engineer, and it will not be a brochure.
